Blogging Tip: Permalink SEO

I got a simple and valuable blogging tip for permalink SEO in WordPress.  Instead of using the default or any one of the options listed under your settings for permalinks, use “/%postname%.html” without the quotes.

This is much easier for the search engines to crawl organize your content. If you have the default permalinks set up which has numbers based on posts, etc, then it just makes the search engines jobs a lot tougher, therefore your page rank will take the hit. I know it must seem like such a small detail, but permalink SEO is a small piece of the SEO puzzle that makes it tough for the search engines to get the whole picture about your site if neglected.
