Houses for Free!

We were able to pick up another investment house to add to our portfolio. Literally…Free.

Then we paid the legal fees to stop the foreclosure process. Jason fixed up the little issues in the house in about 2 days, plugged in a fridge and plopped a sign in the yard.

10 minutes later, prospective tenants sauntered up the walk way and they were moved in less than a week later. This has got to be the best textbook case of real estate investing we’ve had so far.

Thanks to Megan & Zeke, we were able to learn this process and put it into action immediately. If you’re in the Dallas area, they do a once a month seminar – totally worth the 3 days you’ll spend with them…they literally give you the ‘perfect’ ad, word for word as well as some easy yet genius methods of ‘wedging’ down the price of the house if you’re picking up a short sale.

We can probably pick up about 5-6 at the rate we’re going (we’re not putting too much effort into getting these leads), but the up front legal fees will ensure we’re really picky about which houses we’ll choose to beef up our portfolio.

So get up off the couch and GO GET A HOUSE!
